I want change. I want life to be better. Short of that I want life to feel better. And I think we all know what I'm talkin' about: I want something to happen again like Bad Art Friend.

Because yuppy car crashes of relational-but-not-existential consequence are what my nervous system requires to feel safe.

My dream scenario would combine the best of the financial columnist who handed scammers $50,000 in a shoebox and the revelation that Danny Lavery's polycule was having a baby. It would feel like a gossip sesh with Emily Gould and Keith Gessen as they serve you salad from acacia hands. It would be about writers and their ethical commitments to their subjects, but mostly about real estate. Something Elizabeth Gilbert-coded, but not quite as dark as what she's up to these days...😳

That's why I'm doing the adult version of playing with dolls and coming up with The Cut-style stories about my art from this week!!!
